I think that I shall never see

A 2D movie converted to 3D...

For My Dear Friend...

Breaking free from the norm
To take the road less-traveled.
While the know-it-alls around me
Speak of horrors along that way.
Yet I took the road anyway
With some hesitation in my mind.
And then I find you taking the same route,
So I joined you, thinking, "Why not?"

Not long after, I see for myself
The horrors they talk about.
But you dealt with those hurdles
And stayed cool, calm and collected.
And in awe, we find along the way
Certain wonders the others knew not.
Those rewards that you can only get
After overcoming the hurdles you encounter.

It was a wild roller-coaster ride,
That's how you make me feel.
And crazy as it sounds,
I'll do it all over again.
Because it is rare to find people
Who could make me feel alive.
It makes me thank my lucky stars
That your path crossed mine.

Pasensya ka na
Kung di na ko nagpakita.
Ako ay natataranta
Sa tuwing naaalala
Mga luhang hindi sadya
Na sa iyo'y ipakita
Nung huli tayong magkasama.

Paalam na aking sinta.
Huwag masyadong mag-alala.
Muli tayong magkikita.

Dream Interrupted

It's been a while since I
Wore my heart on my sleeve.
I already stopped playing the game some time ago.
I never realized
How refreshing it was
To deal with the unexpected and illogical.
But the dream is over,
The sun is almost up.
Soon it is time to wake up and face reality.
And here I am wishing
For the day to end soon,
Hoping for a part 2 of the interrupted dream.

Dazed

So this is how it feels
To be pleasantly surprised
When you pulled me into your arms.

So this is how it feels
To forget everything else
And wishing that time will stand still.

So this is how it feels
To finally let you go
Because it is time to part ways.

Awe.
Bliss.
Pain.

And now,
Dazed.

This is the year

This is the year...
...when Murphy's law bites you in the ass.
...when all roads leading to your destination are blocked.
...when you want to give up, but failing is not an option.

This is the year...
...when egos are crushed and selfish desires are curbed.
...when things you take for granted suddenly disappear forever.
...when your world falls apart, but you are not allowed to fall with it.

But this is also the year...
...when you learn something new each day.
...when being lost means discovering something wonderful.
...when things go spectacularly wrong, and yet somehow it makes sense.

This is the year of contradictions
And finding the proper balance.

Sobrang nakakairita.
Di man lang nakahalata,
Ika'y nakaka-abala?

Sinong nagsabi sa iyo
Na magkaibigan tayo,
Para utusan mo ako
Na waring may utang sa iyo?

Di ka masyadong kilala.

At kung ganyan ka umasta,
Ha! Wala kang mapapala.

Di tayo magkakasundo
Kung lagi na lang ganito.
Kaya para walang gulo,
Pwede bang lubayan ako?

Kung hindi, buburahin ko
Ang lahat ng pinaghirapan mo.

Aba, aba, magtigil ka nga!
Akala mo kung sino ka.
Bakit tula ang nasa isip mo?
Di ba nasayang din ang oras mo?

Imbes na matematika ang iniisip mo,
Mga salita ang pinaglalaruan mo.
Kung iisipin mo, pareho lang tayo.
Tigilan mo na ang kalokohan mo.
