Time Leap

I wish I could do
a time leap,
To go back to where it all began,
To see whether this moment
can be undone,
To find out what happens
if I chose the other path.

I wish I could do
a time leap,
To go forward, see what will happen,
To figure out if I
chose the right path,
To skip all the bad things
that are happening to me.

But alas,
I’m stuck in the present.
